The Senate are posting a collection of laws today in town square.
Rumor is going around in Rome saying that the government have been working on establishing a set of rules used to govern Rome. Well folks today is the day. They are putting up a post that will hold all of the rules in the middle of Rome. That way anyone can see them. I also know that they are calling them the “Twelve Tables”. Their will be 12 metal sheets. Each sheet will hold its own set of rules.
My sources have given me an exclusive look at one of the sheets. So here you go.
This is the 4th metal plate and it is about Parents and Children. The first rule is “If a child is to be born with a severe deformity, it shall be killed.” The second one is “Parents have the right to sell their children into slavery.”
These are just some of the rules that they will use. So nomore worrying about not knowing the laws of Rome, because know you can take a walk into town square and look at them yourself. They are open to everyone 24 hours away, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. So down to town square and take a look at them, because these are the first ever written rules of Rome.
