Hello Romulus how are you doing today
I’m good
Thats Good, so I have a couple questions I’d like to ask you if that is okay.
Sure
Great. My first one is why did you kill your grandfather or the king.
This one is easy, he tried to kill us. When I was just a baby, child of a god or not, I was defenseless. He was just going to kill us based on what a fortune teller told him. I believe anyone that stupid for believing a fortune teller should be killed.
Okay next one. Do you think that you were born to create the beautiful city of Rome. Why?
Yes, I believe that I was made to create rome because even though they tried to kill us we still survived and I believe that happened because the gods wanted my brother and I to create Rome. First my grandfather tried to keep my mother from getting pregnant, but still a god came and created the babies. Then my Grandfather tried to kill us but the river took us back to the shore safely and then a she-wolf came and picked us up and raised us. Then a shepherd came and found us and raised us as his own. I do not believe anyone could survive all of those things through pure luck, these acts were obviously the gods doings.
Wow, I totally agree. Okay next question, why was your brother so mean to you in front of all the people of Rome.
My brother was jealous of me. While I was working on the wall all the people of Rome were starting to like me more than my brother. But my brother knew that if that happened that I would be elected king. My brother did not want that to happen. So he started telling everyone how stupid the wall was. That way he could get the people to agree and he would be the hero.
I see, well that makes sense. Okay just 2 more questions.
Great.
So why did you kill your brother.
I killed my brother because I believed that no one should be made a joke of in front of the people. While I worked alone day and night, he ran around town telling people how stupid the wall was. I worked to hard to be made a joke of. So when I had finally finished my wall and he jumped over it I said “enough is enough”. I killed him and told anyone the same fate would come to anyone who tried to go over this wall.
Okay my last question is how did the people react when you killed your brother.
At first they were in shock. But once they had processed it all they were happy. They knew that I was a serious ruler. They also finally understood that everything I did was for Rome, and I would always put Rome and the people of Rome’s safety before anything else. Including my own brother.
